Obama's "Accomplishments" So Far

Just a little list to bring you up to speed on all of OBAMA'S accomplishments to date.
1. Offended the Queen of England
2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia
3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega
4. Kissed Hugo Chavez on the cheek
5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia
6. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions
7. Gave away billions to AIG, also without pre-conditions
8. Expanded the bailouts
9. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian
10. Quadrupled the national debt
11. Announced a termination of the space defense system the day after the North Koreans launched an ICBM.
12. Despite the urgings of his own CIA director and the prior 42 CIA directors, released information on intelligence gathering. Announced major restrictions on interrogation techniques used on enemy combatant prisoners..
13. Accepted without public comment the fact that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other appointees withdrew after they couldn't take the heat.
14. ; Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who quickly identified as "dangers to the nation" groups including veterans of the military, and opponents to abortion on demand, and who ordered that the word "terrorism” no longer be used but instead referred to such acts as “man made disasters."
15. Circled the globe so he could openly apologize for America’s shortcomings and sins.
16. Told Mexicans the violence in their country was mostly caused by illegal guns from the U.S.
17. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from its Department of Commerce origins and announced ACORN [the organization under massive scrutiny amid allegations of election fraud] would manage the process.
18. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expulsion from America to Cuba of a nine-year old whose mother died trying to bring him to a life of freedom in the United States.
19.. Salutes as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists who threatened one American life and the next day announces members of the Bush administration will likely stand trial for torturing a terrorist who had played a part in killing 3000 Americans by pouring water over his face..
20. On his watch, Air Force One flew over New York City for a photo op without no tifying local authorities, causing widespread panic.
21. Took over the American Automobile industry and handed over 50% off to the unions [because he said he owed them] and appointed a czar with no experience of the automotive industry.
22. Continued his drive for absolute gun control activities, thumbing his nose at the 2nd Amendment.
23. Offered travel and living subsidies in the U.S. to Hamas activists displaced from the Gaza Strip.
24. Got more airtime [TV] than Oprah Winfrey and was often out of Washington instead of tending to the real business of State.
25. Announced the closure of enemy combatants detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba but failed to address the issue of 'what' to do with the 200+ prisoners currently held there. Rumors persist that they'll be housed on U..S. soil, often parroted by the Attorney General.
26. Insists that a legally removed dictator in Honduras be reinstated.
27. Sent condolences to the family of Michael Jackson but not to the survivors of Ed McMahon or Farrah Fawcett.

Yeah, I've seen this "list" on several freeper sites. Half the stuff is just tainted republican propaganda. I don't have the time to go through all of them but just by glancing through... Obama had nothing to do with the air force one fly by...He can't send out condolences every time a celebrity dies, no president has. He didn't have much choice when it came to the auto industry unless you wants thousands of people to lose their jobs. He's spending more time on TV because he wants to keep the people informed unlike our previous president who you couldn't drag before the public. And the people who tortured prisoners should stand trial because it's illegal and against the Geneva Conventions. ETC ETC ETC.....

Offended the Queen of England? Why because she didn't like her present? Puh-leaze. I'm sure she is over that. lol And who cares if he bowed to the Saudi's? Bush kissed them and held hands with them. And as far as kissing Hugo. I didn't see it but it doesn't surprise me. Why? Because one of my best friends is Venezuelan. The first thing he does is kiss my husband on both cheeks every time he sees him (as well as me). He greet his boss that way and just about everybody else he comes in contact with. It's a Venezuelan way of greeting people. BIG FREAKING WHOOP.

Now what about all the things that President Obama has accomplished that are POSITIVE? I have the list on here already. And the things I listed actually matter and weren't just a bunch of lop-sided talking points.

Obama was totally in the dark about the air force one fly over plan. He apologized for it and said it was a total mistake and would not happen again. He did not authorize it. The idiot responsible either has a very sore tailend or is no longer working there.

Fake town halls and scripted questions? Hmmm, I thought you were talking about Bush and McCain.. Anyway, no, he's appeared in more press conferences (which are far from scripted) and television addresses than Bush ever did. The numbers speak for themselves and anyone with a television knows this already. Please show me all the tons of rightwing propaganda that shows that Obama's townhalls are all staged and I'll show you twice as many about George Bush and John McCain. The fact remains, Obama is on TV more and there is nothing wrong with that. At least he doesn't stayed locked away in his doom bunker away from public site at all times like Dick Cheney.

As far as the auto industry goes... Yes they are but not as many as there would have been if he let them all go bust. What is happening to the auto industry lies at the feet of the CEO's and big wigs involved. If they hadn't of been so greedy, built cars that were dependable and actually tried to compete with Toyota and Honda and made smaller more gas efficient vehicles, they wouldn't be laying off anyone. It's their faults, not President Obama. And did I mention that the economy is turning around? My husband works in an industry that is very sensitive to the economy (more than most). When people are building things and the country is doing well, their work orders pick up. The past month things have been going up and up. Not to mention that I know people who have sold houses suddenly and have new good paying jobs. The dow is back up. It's time to start being optimistic and start praying that Obama's ideas are working instead of kicking him. There's no reason for it unless you just want him to fail out of spite.

Which of his ideas are working... People are not going to quit driving if an auto maker goes broke... The stock market is doing better because
Wall st. is paying back the bail outs so they can get back to business without government interference... So which specific Obama "idea" do you feel is working??

One source. Ok. Wow, that's overwhelming. Anyway, how do I know his plans are working... Read the paper Lucas. Things are improving, even though it appears you don't want them to.

How many sources would you like?? There are several more.. Again, which Obama policies are causing the small "improvements"???

I guess if posting such lists makes one feel better, go ahead. However, most of those issues we have hashed already. Most are hardly fact or are being taken out of context.
