An Example of Media Bias

The reporter calls it a"Fox news" crowd. She asks if the guy knows the state of Lincoln gets 50 billion dollars out of the stimulus, she fails to mention that he and the rest of the tax payers will have to pay for it.

That was obviously just set up to take a slam at Fox.

Step 1. Find a kooky guy.

Step 2. Argue with kooky guy in order to incite crowd.

Step 3. Paint crowd as an angry mob of extremists.

Step 4. Tie angry mob to your competitor.

I couldn't agree more. What about that report was unbiased? It's pathetic what journalism has become.

She has committed the Cardinal Sin of a news reporter. She made herself part of the story. Her job was to report on the gathering and get some comments from the crowd. She decided to make herself the story by putting forth her own opinion, which is not something you do at that place and time.

Much like Alan Cutler running down Billy Gillispie looking for a comment he knew he wasn't going to get, this woman is an @$$ and a bad reporter.

Exactly! Journalism is sadly a mere shadow of what it once was.
