| I have seen numerous reports where Senators and Congressmen/women are receiving threats due to their support of Obamacare. While I can understand some Americans feeling that socialized healthcare is the government further encroaching into our lives but going to the point of threatening politicians is pure stupidity. This is as bad as when the AIG employees had to hire security from threats they received when their contract mandated bonuses were paid to them. Or even closer to home when the Lexington Herald Leader received threats after their article in regards to the UK basketball teams violations back in the late 80's. While I think most Americans are fairly level headed we certainly seem to have our nuts on either extreme side. My biggest fear is the day Obama and Pelosi decide to mandate registration for fire arms. While I support gun owners rights, I can't say I will have any inclination to shoot Congressman Yarmuth should have vote that I have to register my shotgun. Just my thoughts. | |

| It's sad that people act so stupidly, some people can't think past their own nose. It amazes me that anyone would threaten or use violence just because they didn't like some piece of legislation. Has it ever occurred to them that these actions are a win for the side they're against as well? I doubt it. | |
