Let's Hear From You

Subject: Let's Hear From You Tue Apr 21, 2009 4:35 pm

OK folks, the way I see it, this site belongs to all of the members. What I'd like from every member is to tell what they like or dislike about the site. What can be done to make it better for you? What suggestions would you like to make? What about the site do you think needs changing?
Please feel free to tell me anything you think would make your experience here at the Outpost Saloon better.

I really love the "saloon" feel. Getting to know new posters is always fun and hanging out with old ones is good, too.

One thing I do wish that we had was an individual "new post" button. This button, that I have seen on other sites, takes you to the newest post that you haven't read in a thread that you have been following.

I've been checking it out. As of now I'm not certain if I can, but I will continue to look into it.

I have only been a member for a couple of days now but like what I am seeing and really have no complaints.
I don't know if there will be any high school sports forums......football, baketball, etc. when those seasons near or not but that is something that I do enjoy. My favorite lifestyle/passion I guess would be hunting and fishing. Again, I don't know how many others here enjoy the outdoor hunting and fishing lifestyle as well. I may and probably will start threads in this forum on various huntig/fishing topics just to see. Maybe if there is enough interest then we could have a forum on those.

A hunting and fishing forum might be a great idea. Let's see how your threads catch on, and maybe we'll set it up.

As for high school discussion, since this is a nationwide forum, we don't anticipate getting into that type of forum. If you like high school sports, we reccomend you check out www.BluegrassPreps.com -- especialy if it's Kentucky high school sports that you follow. It truly is the very best forum on the Internet for high school sports discussion, and more. In fact, many of our members are also members there, and enjoy both sites.

OK, this has now been taken care of. It's a little different then most you may have seen as this one is to the left of the topic. It looks like this - Let's Hear From You Icon_t10

Actually, we have that feature. It's above "Last Posts" in the upper right on the main page listed as "View posts since last visit".
