Subject: Republicans and Southerners most unpatriotic Americans? Tue Jun 09, 2009 4:34 pm
I know the south is full of good people but ignorance and bigotry is still a big problem. Secession from the rest of the US? Totally unpatriotic. I wonder how the poll will change if a republican becomes president after the next election? The US isn't something we should want to throw away simply because you don't like the current leader. But I do have to admit that I have wished that some of the wackier conservatives would move to Alaska and start their own little nation just so they would leave the rest of us alone.

Oh, the irony. Five weeks ago, Sean Hannity was touting Texas secession...now he's upset that a woman was told she couldn't display an American flag at her workplace near Dallas.

Obviously, the woman never should have had her flag taken down -- but it's worth remembering that if Rick Perry and Sean Hannity had their way, she'd have been flying a foreign flag.
Apparently, for Sean Hannity, America only includes Texas when its politically convenient.
