Everyone Please Read

Everyone that posts in the Political Forum please take the time to re-read the rules. I understand that politics can be very passionate and personal to many of us, those of you that know me from another site know full well how I let my temper or passion for the subject matter get out of hand from time to time. In doing so, I polarized myself from some and instead of getting my point across I was simply ignored and therefore was merely "preaching to the choir".
How can any of us expect someone to consider our point of view if we're not willing to try to understand the point of view of those we are debating? There needs to be a little more give and take from all of us, me included.
I value the membership of all of you and really want to make this a place that you all enjoy visiting. So, with that in mind, please remember that while you are debating lets all remember to take a deep breath and think about what we want to say before letting our passion think for us. Let's all try to be respectful of our fellow posters and try to treat them as we want them to treat us.

Hey, thanks for being patient with me when I'm being a little too passionate!! I'm going to try really hard to respect everybody's right to their opinion. Just kick me in the butt when I get out of line! Thanks for providing this forum. It's a great place to talk and blow off some steam. I've met some cool folks too! Take care.

Guilty as charged.. I'll try not to be so volatile.. But,,,,,,,,,, I have a really hard time figuring if a poster is stating FACT or OPINION.. They are entirely different animals. Thanks for the great site and the effort involved... Gotta go saddle up Razor..
