Sen Bayh was a politician I kind of liked. He was a moderate and seemed to be pretty level headed. If he were Pro-Life (and I lived in Indiana) I would probably vote for him. I think he did a pretty good job as Gov. of Indiana.

His resignation was pretty odd though. While the upcoming elections seem to favor the GOP more than the Dem's, I would have to think Sen Bayh would have still won re-election fairly easily. So I guess now I am wondering, is Bayh's resignation really due to his being fed up with Congress, or is he maybe looking for a shot at the White House? I am having a hard time seeing him challenge Obama in 2012 though. Interesting times ahead.

Obamas pretty much a lame duck already and stands little chance of re-election unless he really turns it around so the vultures will be gathering.. Look for more Dems to take a shot at him in 12.. Obama has even hinted that there is a chance he won't run in 12... http://primebuzz.kcstar.com/?q=node/20575 I agree with you on Bayh.. Seems like a decent guy and would make a good candidate..

Not sure Your Honor. Being a moderate my guess is that would probably be for regulation similar to the Brady Law and other "light or moderate regulation" but would not go near as far as a nut like Pelosi if that make any sense.

I thought over at BGP in a thread about concealed carry you were OK with background checks? Maybe I misunderstood you. I will have to check over there again.
